After reading reviews and hearing others rant and rave, we had pretty high expectations before going to Nava. Although our meal / experience was not `Earth Shattering`, I was not disappointed and I would definitely return. We started out with the Cheese Fritters with Chile sauce as an appetizer and they were excellent! I had both a Prickly Pear and Texas Margarita and my wife had a Prickly Pear Margarita and this was the only part of the meal that I was disappointed in... Some have raved about the excellent Margaritas at Nava? These were not anything special, they contained very little Tequila and were so heavily loaded with generic mix that I had trouble drinking them, but then I'm somewhat of a Tequila / Margarita connoisseur so others may be ok with these `average` drinks. For our main dish, I had the Pork tenderloin and my wife had the Snapper. Both were excellent and the portion sizes were quite adequate. Although already stuffed after our main course, We had to try something for desert so we ordered and shared the Banana quesadillas which were also Excellent! The atmosphere and service were all very good and our total meal was reasonably priced (For Buckhead) at $80 (excluding tip) so all in all, definitely worth the trip but I'd say, skip the Margaritas! :)
