I'M SORRY TO SAY I WAS DISSAPOINTED WITH CHARLEY'S THE FOOD WAS OK, BUT NOTHING TO WRITE HOME ABOUT. WE PROMISED OURSELVES THAT WHILE IN THE U.S WE WOULD HAVE A REAL AMERICAN STEAK BUT WHAT WE GOT WAS NO BETTER THAN A STEAK HOUSE IN THE UK. WE COULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT THE TRAY OF RAW BEEF BEING BROUGHT TO THE TABLE WHILE WE STUDIED THE MENU, AND THE LECTURE ON THE DO'S & DONTS OF BEEF FARMING WAS EMBARRASING. I THINK THE WORST THING ABOUT CHARLEYS WAS THE PRICE. 70 DOLLARS FOR A MEAL FOR TWO IS FINE FOR A A-LA-CARTE MEAL BUT WHEN YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT STEAK & FRIES ITS A BIT OVER THE TOP. WE HAVE SINCE HAD A REAL AMERICAN STEAK AND NOW KNOW WHAT WE MISSED.
