Clearly one of the best restaurants in New York. Here you can choose portion and pay accordingly. There are 1st, 2nd & 3rd courses, 1st being the smallest. You could have 1, 2, or 3 courses. No `oversized portions for all` here. Also with wine by the glass there is the regular 6 oz size and the taster 3 oz size. One need not feel uncomfortable dining alone here anytime. Your meal can be served at the bar, or if any tables are free you can be graciously seated at a table. In addition to the world class food (the sweatbreads I had were perfect); the ambience is sumptuous, within an art deco building; service was efficient & the staff warm & friendly.
