I have been traveling to Miami for years and have become a big fan of Christy's. Contrary to your review, this is a coat and tie type of place. Having said that, there is a warmth to place which along with the service makes this a consistently great place for lunch or dinner. The beef is great, but the fish is fabulous, too - grouper and snapper are as good as you will get any place. Also, there is no better place for stone crabs when they are in season. Joe's may be a landmark but who needs the hassle. Bottom line, for excellent food and great service, you can't do better than Christy's.
