I discovered Keen's quite by accident, just ducking into the bar for a drink to stay out of the rain. Looking around, I discovered the restaurant, and decided to come back the next weekend to try it. I was not disappointed, to say the least. It's not cheap, but I didn't expect it to be. I had a bowl of roasted red pepper soup that was terriffic, and an outstanding filet mignon with scallops. The mashed potatoes and the cremed spinach were also outstanding. The service was extremely friendly, and quick as well. As far as drinks, I enjoyed a very good gin martini when I was first seated, and had a pint of Keen's own ale with my steak. I'm looking forward to my next visit, and would hasten to recommend this establishement to anyone.
