My husband and I ate at Fore Street twice in late summer/early fall 2001, and both times it was FANTASTIC--much better than the previously written reviews indicate. Especially strong were seafood-based dishes, e.g., the Portuguese stew and the mussels with garlic-almond butter. A full meal will certainly lighten your wallet, but the ingredients are impeccably fresh and imaginately put together. Fore Street beats anything we've had in Boston, including the top-ranked Aujourd'Hui.
