Every time I go to San Francisco I eat at Empress of China. The ambience is superlative with authentic Chinese decor. The view of the city from the dining room is excellent. I have yet to come across a bad entree and the service has always been prompt and professional. I have never had a reservation and have always been able to have a seat within 10-15 minutes (usually party of two). Don't miss the photos of celebrities in the entree lobby!
