Even if I didn't live in the neighborhood, I'd make sure to bring friends here to savor such daily specials as seared ahi and Chilean seabass, both prepared with deliciously fresh, light sauces. Note, however, that many entrees are priced well above the reported $8 per plate. I'd say $15 is closer to what you can expect. That said, one of the best things I've eaten there was their charbroiled burger (Niman Ranch Beef), with arugula and an amazingly subtle and delicious horseradish mayonnaise ($9). Great cocktails like fresh mint Mojos! -- and I like the subdued lighting and SoMa, modern flavor to the place.
