Ihave been looking for a good Chinese restaurant in San Diego for eight years. When P.F.Chiang opened I was hopeful - the building is impressive. I have tried Jasmine and been disappointed. I lived inLA and there are excellent Chinese restaurants there, even in Costa Mesa. However this one is some chain idea of Americanized fast-food Chinese. Just plain bad. There isone mentioned onChowhound.com which I will try soon.
