In response to my post, must have been a computer glitch! We were not ` bad teaking` but * bad teaking in the window. (edited)- Is follow up to post by springer65 ...
My sister and I came upon La Veranda last December 1999. We wanted to eat Italian for lunch and found this restaurant. We peeked in the window and saw linen table cloths and waiters dressed in tuxedos. We were about to walk away as we were dressed in jeans, casual wear when the Maiter D saw us peeking and opened the door startling us. He said, come on in! We'll take care of you! We were treated to the most delightful lunch! Our jeans and all with all of our shopping bags around us. They wouldn't take no for an answer. It was truly NY hospitality. -- 11/3/2001 10:10:15 PM
