Part 2 (of 2) Well, an hour later, the party of 14 was seated, in a long row, against the wall. Instead of a big round table, where all could interact, it was a long table, where few could interact with others. And, against the wall, so of course, when those inside needed to use other facilities, it was a hassle to plenty of those around them, sliding out, etc. Fortunately, I have terrific family and friends, and everyone tried to make the best of it. As if this debacle wasn’t bad enough, at the midpoint of the meal, the manager walks by the table and sees I am smiling and makes a snide comment about how everything must be all right, cause I am apparently having a good time. I say this is in spite of the restaurant, not because of it. So, I spent a thousand bucks to have an average party, in a setting I purposely would have avoided, had I known. Apparently, the restaurant knew about the snafu when Troy Wiese tried to cancel me out, lying, citing a “water main break, and the restaurant closed But they would rather lie and defraud their customers than have honest dealings. These people have no integrity. In this case, either they double booked the party room, or they discovered the “mistake” the day before, and tried to cancel on me by using the “water main break” lie, or they bumped me at the last minute for someone else. These people are FRAUDS and LIARS, DO NOT give your party business to these UNRELIABLE people. PLEASE go to any other of the many fine private party rooms, in the fine restaurants in this city. DO NOT patronize this bunch of thieves. Oh wait, they did give me the dessert for free. But then, they did spell my name wrong on the cake.
