A friend who is notoriously cheap recommended Pane Caldo to my wife and I. We went on sunday after the marathon, so we were both starving. The service is very friendly and relaxed, very knowledgeable. Very nice place. We started by sharing the mushrooms. Split a salad( great salads ), split rissoto lobster (lots of lobster) and then split the veal tenderloin and enjoyed some wine by the glass. Wines by the glass here are seem expensive, but the stemware is very large and the pour is quite generous in comparison to other places that give you a measured 5oz pour. Pane Caldo is at least double. So don't be turned off. Split items, we found that 4-5 courses split is perfect. Ask server to custom a menu for you.
