I am a European, and have a predeliction to smaller sized portions with an emphasis on quality. Although, American, by reference, the menu provides a European flavour - goose liver and lamb. Whenever in Boston, I make a point of visiting Grill 23. The only thing that beats the food is the service. Again I was reminded of my favourite restaurants in London. The staff know how to serve, quiet and unassuming, but there when you need the next course, your glass filled, or a question answered. I cannot believe that a visitor will be anything but impressed.
