Prices have raised a bit, one is looking at $15-$25/entree.

Very few items for the person who is sensitive to hot spices, almost everything's rubbed or otherwise infused with hot stuff. I ordered the sole and to be honest I wasn't sure if I should be putting wasabi or maple syrup over it. My food turned out to be fairly bland and uninspiring. The smoked salmon ravioli ordered by someone else at our table proved to be the best 'bang for the buck', although a trifle doughy (I felt it was a little underdone), it was rather delicious and the portions hearty enough for sharing between two people. The bread is pretty good, but that's to be expected in the heart of SF.

We got lost on our way in and the waitstaff on the phone gave clear and helpful advice as well as holding our reservation. The place is extremely clean, albeit loud. Try to get a table on the entrance side because the other side serves as an excellent echo chamber, bouncing noise around and around, making it difficult to talk at times.

All in all, we felt it was a good experience, but nothing we'd make a trek into the City specifically for.
