Gus may very well retire sometime in the next couple of years, so someone with more money than I needs to step up to the plate and buy this place and the recipes!! This is another North Akron institution. The `power brokers` of Akron politics-- both the elephants and the donkeys-- meet here to talk about important Akron matters. Get the lamb shank special on the luncheon menu. Steaks are good as well as fish. You get a little relish tray with dinner and the bread is good. Waitresses have had lots of time under the sun lamp and call you `hon`, `dear` and/or `sweetie`. Would someone with some bucks and a good plan please buy this place so Gus can retire in peace? Otherwise, some yahoo closes it or bulldozes it.
