Although the food is rather tasty, it is not authentic Greek, or authentic Mediterranean for that matter. However, it is reminescent of food from that area. The restaurant is comfortable and the owner/chef is a demanding fellow who is warm and very interested in his diner's menu. But often, he is concerned when a diner has special needs especially if it 'interferes' with his idea of Greek food. I've found that if you convey your needs to him in a gentle manner, he's very eager to help. Just don't tell him you won't eat this or that. He's helpful and you will enjoy your experience if you are open to his passionate ways.
