I note that my grades were rather conservative. I have very little experience of Indian Restaurants in the City of San Francisco over the past 10 years. Moreover, I can't call it `world class` since I haven't been to Delhi or Madras. However, compared to all the Indian restaurants I have eaten at, it is outstanding! The food had generous quantities, was well-prepared. The rice was out of this world. The meat dishes were flavorful and well spiced. As an added treat, we were able to discuss India, food preparation with the owner, who is a devout Hindu and who is very concerned that food be prepared fresh and, of course, hygenic. We will follow this restaurant with interest.
