Once, in a little place on the banks of the Edisto River in South Carolina, I had the best fried oysters I have ever found. The batter almost melted in your mouth. I never expected to find anything that wonderful again. But I found it here. Same batter, and it's to die for! Check our the `Happy Hour` with a dozen oysters on the half shell for 2-3 dollars. It's crowded and very loud but if you order the right thing (and that's almost anything) your visit will be wonderful.
