I wouldn't call the food the `town's best` but Faded Rose is a good value. The seafood gumbo and Cajun soaked salad are unique. Is follow up to post by ghg ... Faded Rose serves some of the best steaks in town as well as very good Cajun-influenced dishes. O.K. wine list. I recommend that you order the steak fries with Ranch dressing dip or fried artichoke hearts for an appetizer. -- 3/11/2000 3:18:59 PM
