On recent visits, we were quite disappointed in this restaurant. The waitstaff were not knowledgable about the food or wine, and not accomodating. The food was barely passable, with mediocre Sauerbraten and average quality soup, salad and dessert. Although the location could be somewhat charming, the physical appearance has not been maintained or improved. The potential of this restaurant should not be overlooked. Location alone cannotatone for inadequate service, food quality and ambiance.
