Paru's is THE typical SOUTH indian restaurant. The indian restaurants most people are used to are North Indian ones. Masala dosa, salty lassi, and badam halva are the best in town. Iddlis melt in your mouth. For such cuisine look also for Udupi restaurants. There is one in Cerritos, but it is not as good as Paru's. Try the Tanjore special for a sample of different South Indian specialities.
