Obviously you ARE a visitor to Charleston. Any local will tell you, without a doubt, that the Sunfire Grill is one of the best kept secrets in Charleston. Excellent (and I mean excellent) service, a great wine selection, and food that rivals even some of the nicer restaurants in our fair city. Net time you come down, eat at Hymans with all of the other tourists. Sunfire is a favorite of locals, myself included.- Is follow up to post by wgabriel ...
What a joke. The other reviewers are either the owenrs or friends of the owner. To rate this restaurant as even close to the best is a travesty to other restaurants in Charleston. I booked reservations for 11 people at this place based on the reviews of this site. It was most embarasing. I've been going to Charleston for 20 years and wanted a new place to go. I was never so disappointed. If the other reviewers thought this was amoung the best, then they haven't eaten anywhere else in Charleston. -- 1/21/2001 3:45:53 PM
