I am an employee at the Lakeline store, and I came to the website to write about the herendous working conditions when I came across another e-mail concerning the same issues. To start off, I agree with the very unprofessional manner of the GM at the store. She is notorious for throwing plates, slamming doors, and belittling the staff with her degrading remarks. She plays favoritism among the staff, and contradicts the rules she sets during monthly meetings by calling females `hoochies, sluts, or *s.` Her mood swings are unprofessional and are abusive to the staff. Ex: One minute she will be happy and the next minute she will be slamming the doors and running around yelling. This in turn causes a tense work environment, and most employees feel uncomfortable comfronting her when she gets in these moods. I realize every one has a bad day, but as a GM of a restaurant, you are hired to maintain these moods and keep a professional attitude with your staff. If you think I am overexxagerating, or am not being completly honest, I encourage you to send someone down to the store to survey other employees as well. I know I am not the only one who feels this way, PLEASE bring this to your attention soon, something has to be done for the good of the company!!! (edited)
