This was my favorite place to hang out when I was in college. It was quiet, but not too quiet. They were always more than accomodating of the large groups I'd be with. This is the perfect place to go if you want somewhere to go for a drink and/or a decent meal. It's got that perfect combination of being a bar, but not part of the typical `bar scene` of a college town. It's basically like a deli that serves alcoholic drinks.
