	A bargain eatery with excellent food, Basix serves an eclectic dinner menu including pastas, great salads and thin-crust pizzas. Breakfasts are also great, and very affordable. Service is great and unrushed. Outdoor dining is a major plus. The crowd is a friendly mix of gays, straights, families, etc. Well worth the trip east to Santa Monica & Flores.
