The very high price of the good food would be justified if the service was up to speed too. Taking a group of business people there after an important tour was a very embarrassing experience. The table wasn't ready, although reservations had been made weeks ahead. When the table was finally `ready`, there was silverware missing, not enough appetizer plates. Menus were carelessly thrown on the plates. Hot pastry was not placed o nthe plates, but dropped somewhere over it which caused it to roll across the table in some cases - no `excuse me` or `I am sorry` from the waiters, nor the offer to bring a new one. Water glasses were filled not from behind the person the glass belonged to, but from one seat over, causing the waiter's sleeve to dip into my appetizer and almost wiping it into my face while I was eating. Again, no word of apology from the waiter. Etc. etc. etc.. In the end, instead of discretely handing me the check, the waitress asked me across the big round table `How much tip are you going to pay? 15, 17 or 18 percent?`. All in all we considered it outrageous, especially after we really left a lot of money there. Being a tour director for my company, I will definitely never bring a high class tour group there again. Pity - the food was really good.
