Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez! Dig the Acme Oyster Bar, the atmosphere is funky with cheap aluminum chairs, vinyl tablecloths, foil Mardi Gras decor and TVs blaring away, it's not a fancy place, but you can get good and messy here. Fried oyster Po'Boys or platters are fresh and delicious, simple seafood. Order a few dozen on the 1/2 shell to share, and if they've got 'em, order up some boiled crawfish, they're spicy & delicious. Red beans & rice are wonderfully creamy, with soft white rice on top & chunks of andouille sausage in the beans. Don't forget to order a local beer, Abita Amber hits the spot.
