My name is Jon.My twin brother and I had a most wounderful dinner at Landry's . Last May we were in town for the BBQ contest. We soon got tired of three days of BBQ. WE found Landry's much to our likeing. I spent 17years at sea as a chef.I teach cooking part time my brother also teaches with me. We are both certified judges for the KCBS. The first time I found the resturant I had the Fried Seafood Combo, my Brother had the Two lbs of Crawdads. We had the best time, the best service.The food was out of this world!! my husband and i decided to dine here on our anniversary.to begin with our salad plates were dirty which we sent back.after eating most of my salad i found a hair in my plate which i did not mention. however when i found another hair in our appetizer i did mention it to the waiter who had been very attentive up until that point.by that time he had already served our main course. so to avoid causing a scene we continued with our meal. at the end of the meal we receive an apology and received our appetiver free but still paid the 60.00 dollars for the meal. boy!!! were we the suckers. i would strongly suggest that anyone avoid this restaurant!!!!!!~ -- 12/12/1998 12:01:46 PM
