totally classy place, perfect for a prom, nice family dinner, or corporate function in the PDR. great view overlooking the Kirkland waterfront & Olympics at sunset. I usually order red meat rare (done very nicely here), but the kitchen is perhaps best known for its masterful handling of fish, not just salmon and ahi (lots of Seattle places serve these), but Columbia River sturgeon in season and other surprises too. love their grilled romaine and roquefort salad. nice wine list, particularly strong on NW and California cabernets, pinot noirs, sauvignon blancs & chardonnays. but you can get the bordeauxs, burgundies and champagnes too! kind of expensive ($50-$100+ for a typical dinner with appetizer/s, salad, entree, wine, dessert & tip) but worth it. great braised lamb shank. fancy desserts if you have room. piano bar. dress is between casual and suits. I think they have a website too for pictures.
