The Longhorn Bar-B-Q has been a part of Spokane dining since 1955, when the Lenhertz Brothers came up from Texas. They brought with them a great knowledge of 'open-pit' barbeque...some would say, the ONLY way to do it! The Longhorn is also famous for its barbeque sauce...slightly sweet, with just the right amount of 'zip' to bring out the best in the wood-smoked beef, chicken, and pork, not to mention their German sausage...Yum! The 'rustic' interior adds to the feel of the place...like it hasn't changed since the 50's. I reccomend the Longhorn highly to anyone with an appetite for affordable Texas Bar-B-Que..as their slogan goes...'Pardner, it's Larrupin'!'
