Kyoto is truely one of the last bastions of true japanese atmosphere and cuisine in the Greater Salt Lake Valley. It features traditional shoeless seating and up right tables for those who are a little less ethnic. It also includes a sushi bar to the side for those who like it 'Straight'. As for the food it features many tempura and seafood dishes from a tempura sweet potatoe side dish to a well baked salmon plate. I'm no purveor of fine dining, but I can honestly say I would feel most comfortable in suggesting the Kyoto as a fine dining resturant in Salt Lake as I have already done to the majority of the people I know here.
