We visited Piccola Italia during a week night. There were two couples dining including us. Our waiter was uniformed of the menu items. The atmosphere was 'awkard', very quiet, very stiff. It took a long time to receive our orders. My young son had ordered simply, pasta with butter sauce, and it came with red sauce on it. His meal came minutes befoe the rest of the families. Several trips to track down the waiter was required. The adults meal was bland. Lacking in northern Italian flavor. Had to ask the waiter for our check. Overall a very bad experience. As an added note. While we were dining, friends of ours from our subdivision entered to meet other friends of theirs, when they remembered dining at this restuarant previously, they quickly left without ordering...we should have taken the hint. Will not return.
