The food is carefully prepared. Our knowledgeable waiter recommended a good Merlot to go with our Chateau Briand for two which is carved tableside -- much recommended. For additional romance, ask that your wine be decanted. Afterward, you must have a fine vintage port or settle for their Raspberry Soufflé -- delicious. They have the largest selection of Port by the glass I have seen in any restaurant and the food is fantastic. The service: superb. Unpretentious, yet elegant and romantic. All these qualities make Rue De Paris one of my most favorite dining spots in San Jose.
