My recent visit to Chapman's was quite disappointing especially since the restaurant's decor is very cozy and inviting. The chicken cutlet I ordered and the veal piccatta my guest ordered were both smothered in sauce which led us to believe that either the 'chef' was hiding something or was woefully inept. The basic dishes here are ok(i.e. the duck entree), but the high prices are not warranted. Any attempt at fairly complex cuisine is bound to be a failure at Chapman's.
