Both this Cascones, as well as Johnny Cascones near 91st & Metcalf in Overland Park, have very, very good food. I absolutely know what I'm talking about! It's not one of these franchise places. Try the Bean & Pasta soup on Wednesday dinner or Thursday at lunch, it's excellent! (Add some Tobasco sauce to it!!) Their Lasagne is great, their Chicken Spedini is great. Johnny's, I've noticed, unfortunately no longer has butter for your bread. They now only have something like Country Crock Margerine. That's too bad. Butter has likely increased in price, but to be an excellent restaurant, you can't skimp on stuff like that!
