Charlie Mom's is a Village mainstay. High quality ingredients and attention to special requests put Charlie's squarely ahead of most of the other neighborhood places.
Lightning-quick delivery, take it out or enjoy their bright and pleasant dining room. Favorite dishes include Beef Lo-Mein, Imperial Shrimp, the Sizzling Seafood Platter and the "Pu-pu" platter. Vegetables are always fresh and never over-cooked, which is real plus.
Get something green (the chinese broccoli is super) sauteed in oyster sauce and you will be glad that you did. They also feature seasonal vegetables on the menu, which is unusual. Their wonton soup is noteworthy for it's light, clean broth.
If I didn't live in the neighborhood, I would still come downtown for Charle Mom Chinese Cuisine.
