The Cheese Board is a great place for a change of pace luncheon or to order party trays for any event! Order deli style off a huge chalk board and seat yourself at a cafe table... read the paper while you wait for your order to be prepared or look at the array of basket-type foods and fillers adorning the walls and shelves.
Sandwiches are offered on a wide variety of breads including a delicious oatmeal nut bread, whole wheat pita, and onion roll plus the regulars. An Avocado & Cheese sandwich (Jarlsburg cheese with avocado, sweet peppers and alfalfa sprouts) $5.50 and a wonderful Turkey Deluxe (Turkey breast with lettuce, tomato, sprouts and Russian Dressing) $5.50 were delicious.
Salad platters ($4.95 to $8.95) looked very tempting on a neighboring diner's table! A very good alternative to fast food ...
