The Royal Peacock is Boulder's taste to India. Set on the outskirts of town, parking is easy and the food is excellent.
Depending on the time of your visit, you savor different tastes. The lunch time provides a buffet that highlights some of the more traditional tastes. On my visit I was able to enjoy Ganesham Sundeep (lentils sautéed with spinach, herbs and spices and Chicken Makhani (chicken roasted with spices with cream of tomatoes.)
The next time I visited this establishment I enjoyed it over dinner with friends. We were able to share dishes to experience the full flavor of the cuisine. A few I suggest include the Seekh Kabob (a spicy lamb sausage) and Shrimp Bhuna (shrimp sauteed in tomatoes, peppers and onions).
You will find the owners and staff hard at work with you in mind. Both the service and the food make for a delightful visit.
